Who we are

Over twenty years ago, Ross and Beatriz opened their doors to travellers from around the world. Ross, drawn to Chile by his love for agriculture and tourism, left rural New Zealand for the coastal desert town of Arica, where he met his wonderful wife, Beatriz. What started as a family home quickly became a welcoming space for those exploring South America. To this day, Ross and Bea have poured their hearts into Sunny Days, offering guests exceptional service and unforgettable memories.

Now, as the newest members of the Sunny Days family, we’d like to introduce ourselves. We’re Sasha and Josh, originally from New Zealand, and we’re excited to begin this new chapter. Our aim is to honour the space that my Abuelo and Abuela built, while celebrating a new era of Sunny Days with travellers discovering the magic of the Arica y Parinacota region of Chile.

Together we bring a fresh perspective while staying true to the heart and soul of Sunny Days. Our shared love for travel, and enthusiasm for new experiences has shaped our vision for this space — a laid-back home away from home, where friends, family, and travellers can gather, share stories, and unwind.
